Ann O’Neill

My Name is Ann O’Neill, I am the Manager of The Hive Childcare Centre in Summerhill Co. Meath. I have a wealth of knowledge in children, I have previously minded children in my own home for 17 years along with taking care of my own children before I started working in The Hive. I joined The Hive in 2007 when it first opened, as a Room Assistant, I worked my way up through different roles and became Manager in 2015. I love my work, every day is different, it can be challenging at times but it is so rewarding.

I feel privileged to see how the children are growing and advancing from babies right up to pre-school. The children are our first priority and we ensure all their needs are met. We offer a very high standard of care to all the children in our care, we work along with parents and take on board their concerns. I am always here to support the staff in their ongoing professional development. I have a good relationship with all the staff, we work as a team, this I feel is important and is such a rewarding career.
