Faith Ormond

My name is Faith Ormond and I am the Project Manager here at Ronanstown Community Childcare. I am trained in QQI Level 5 and 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education.

I have worked in the Early Years Sector for the past 25 years, with the majority of those years here at RCCC. I work with a great team of Early Years Practitioners. All staff engage in providing opportunities for the children to make choices in a loving, caring, educational environment.

I love my job in particular organising and meeting the needs of the staff, children and parents. I have been privileged to work most of my years here at RCCC in the childcare rooms.

Watching the children grow and progress into individual’s, giving them opportunities to do things for themselves, so they can feel a sense of achievement. A child’s foundation in life is so important and we all get a chance to be a small part of helping them to build that strong, what better reason to be here.
