About Us
Ronanstown Community Childcare Centre (RCCC) is a community play based crèche and has been a part of the Clondalkin community for over 20 years now. RCCC is a registered full day care preschool service with after-school service. This all day childcare service caters for XXX children. The service is offered to the families from Neilstown, Ronanstown and surrounding areas for children aged between 1 year to 12 years. It is a non-profit making and community-oriented organisation delivering the full-range of childcare services.
The team at RCCC are committed to providing the highest quality of Childcare that provides a warm, safe, stimulating and secure environment, where each child is supported in their development. Our service is committed to being guided by the principles of Siolta and Aistear. Our curriculum aims to encourage active learning, problem solving, effective communication, creativity and socialisation. The curriculum evolves organically from the interests and needs expressed by the children. Our Staff act as facilitators and guide this learning.
The Afterschool facilities provide a safe, professional, inclusive childcare service outside of school hours, focused on enhancing children’s recreational, social and educational development.
Services facilitated by the Afterschool team include:
- Facilitated homework sessions
- Healthy eating in a fun environment
- Recreational activities – arts, crafts, games, etc
- Sporting activities
All of our Early Years Practitioners are qualified in Childcare, First Aid and Child Protection and all hold Garda Clearance.

My name is Faith Ormond and I am the Assistant Manager here at Ronanstown Community Childcare. I am trained in QQI Level 5 and 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education.
I have worked in the Early Years Sector for the past 25 years, with the majority of those years here at RCCC.
