We provide a secure and safe environment that helps to promote holistic development for children. Our experienced and qualified staff promote the holistic development of the children in our care.

We provide a play based curriculum approach. Our curriculum incorporates the emergent curriculum method in coordination with national framework Aistear as the bedrock of our day to day curriculum.

At First Steps “Inclusion” is very important to us; we have staff, children and families from different diverse ethnic backgrounds, whose uniqueness is celebrated enriching the experiences of the children here.

Our priority is that the children in our service have a nurturing and loving environment providing them with a home away from home. With this in mind, our indoor and outdoor environments have been designed in a way that children feel safe, have opportunities to explore and to build their confidence on our grounds that cover half an acre.
