About Us
Trim Community Childcare was set up in September 2007 in Trim, Co. Meath. It caters for 150 children and has 40 childcare practitioners that undergo continuous training to maintain the highest standards which you would expect from those who you entrust to care for your children. At Trim Community Childcare, we pride ourselves on positive experiences for all users of our services, be this in the form of open communication between parents and practitioners, the adult to child interactions or the variety of opportunities provided indoor and outdoor for children to play and extend their learning.
Here at Trim Community Childcare we understand the importance and the benefits of Outdoor play for all children and we pride ourselves on happy a spacious outdoor preschool. All children in the facility benefit from Outdoor play and each room has their own purpose built gardens for the children to explore and experiment in their play.
We understand that no two children are the same and ensure that every child is treated as an individual and respected by others. This is reflected in our Aistear curriculum which allows children to make choices about their own learning and play while being supported by their key workers in the room.
Our afterschool’s service caters for 40 children of school going age. We offer collection from the local schools. The session provides homework support, a nutritious hot dinner and recreational activities. The children further develop their social skills, and are supported in developing their creativity and independence.
We pride ourselves on having a great relationship with parents and families that use our service.

Hello, my name is Samantha, I am the Assistant Manager here at Coiscéimeanna Childcare Centre. I oversee the running of our Afterschool service and 3 Preschools. As I am a sporty outdoors person, I find managing our outdoor preschool interesting and rewarding.
