Irene is a specialist in the area of Finance and holds a Degree in Business Studies (BBS) majoring in Accounting. Irene brings with her over 20 years of Finance experience from both a Commercial and not-for-profit organisations. Her main career focus over the past 10 years has been within the Charity Sector. Irene holds a range of financial skills from day to day management of Financial Accounts, End of Year Annual Reports, Forecasting, Budgeting and the preparation of financial returns to funders. Over the years Irene has built up her knowledge in relation to the Childcare Services and the staffing needs in this sector.
In 2015, Irene was successful in her application for a Community Employment Co-ordinator post with Ballivor Community Childcare Community Employment Scheme (CRANN Member Organisation). Irene is responsible for the administration and finance on behalf of the Community Employment Scheme and supports participants in achieving their goals. In addition, Irene assists with sourcing relevant training, supporting and encouraging participants through their work placements.
